Paid Time Off
Regular full-time and part-time employees are eligible to accrue upto the following time off.
Years of Continuous Service Annual leave Emergency leave Holidays Sick Leave
During 1st year of employment 9.38 hours/month 37.5 hours in a 12 month period 10 days in a 12 month period 7.5 hrs per month
During 2nd year of employment 11.25 hours/month
During 3rd year and through 9th year 13.13 hours/month
Starting 10th year and through 19th year 15.62 hours/month
Starting 20th year 18.75 hours/month
Leave Sharing
Central Virgnia Community Services offers leave sharing program for all non-probationary salaried employees. The purpose of this policy is to permit a non-probationary salaried employee to donate annual leave to another non-probationary salaried employee who may need additional leave as a result of an illness or accident, or is volunteering for disaster relief duties outside the Agency.
Retirement
   Central Virginia Community Services offers an employer-funded Virginia retirement plan and pays 5% employee share of creditable compenstation towards retirement benefits for all full-time employees.

Central Virginia Community Services offers insurance for regular full-time and part-time salaried employees:

The employee pays a portion of individual, two person and family health coverage costs. Additional life insurance may be available for regular full-time and part-time employees at their own expense. Central Virginia Community Services participates in Social Security, Unemployment Insurance, and Worker's Compensation Insurance programs.
Worker's Compensation
All Central Virgnia Community Services employees are covered by the Worker's Compensation Law when an employee is injured on the job.

Central Virginia Community Services offers support services, through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), to employees who may have personal or family problems that may affect their performance at work.
