APPROVAL OF MINUTES

The Committee unanimously passed a motion to approve the minutes as written for November 13, 2007 and November 28, 2007.

RECRUITMENT

Mr. Cardwell reported that the committee needs two consumers and two professionals.    A “consumer” is anyone who is currently receiving or has received services from a public or private sector provider within the past 5 years in mental health, mental retardation, or substance abuse.  Ms. Miles can be contacted to obtain an application.

REGIONAL ADVOCATES REPORT

Ms. Miles reminded affiliates to report Peer-to-Peer incidents and to work with staff so they know about this requirement.  The form is attached to affiliation letters for those who became affiliated after 2005.  She also reminded affiliates that updated policies and procedures need to be sent in by March 1.  A copy is to be sent to each advocate the agency is affiliated with.

Ms. Miles reports no major investigations since the November meetings.
