What are Intensive In-Home Services?

Intensive In-Home Services are services that primarily occur in a home setting.
These services include:

  • Individual Therapy
  • Family Therapy
  • Case Management Services
  • Parenting Communications Training
  • Crisis - 24 hour on-call

What do we do?

Home-based Services works with seriously emotionally disturbed children and adolescents that are at-risk of removal from their homes. The program offers an average of 5-10 hours of services by a trained professional therapist and additional hours with a behavior specialist to increase support and provide mentoring, if necessary.

The treatment team includes a psychiatrist, nurse, clinical supervisor and a behavior specialist to address specific needs and to implement care.

Home-based services offer 24-hour emergency services and crisis intervention. Specialized issues of abuse, trauma, depression, ADHD, oppositionalism, conduct, and behavioral disorders are some of the primary disorders of clients served in our program. Our program provides individualized treatment plans, quarterly reports, and outcome measures (CAFAS).

Who do we work with?

Any child who is below the age of 21,

  • At risk of removal from their home, school, and/or community
  • Who requires more intensive treatment than can be provided in Outpatient Therapy
  • Having a parent or guardian who is willing to participate in services
