What do we do?

      Project Daniel provides individualized services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities and their families. The goal of services is to provide the formal supports to meet outcomes identified by families for their children. Our specific goals are to assist parents in meeting the unique developmental needs of each child through education, advocacy, parent/caregiver training and support; to maximize growth and development; to promote family empowerment, and support parents in becoming effective teachers and advocates for their children. We provide outreach and coordinate services and make referrals in the community as needed.

Who do we work with?

  • Children aged 0-3 with developmental delay, developmental disability, or atypical development;
  • Children aged 0-5 who are at risk for serious emotional disturbance, or who are at risk for mental retardation;
  • Early Intervention uses a systems approach by working with children’s primary caregivers in the child’s natural environment.

How do I make a referral?

      Central Point of Entry: 455-2295 or 455-0030. Referrals are made directly to the Part C Coordinator or to any Early Intervention service coordinator. Referrals are frequently made directly by parents or pediatricians. Anyone, however, can make a referral with a parent's consent.
